Mr. Kelce is a 1972 graduate of C-PP East High School. He also earned his A.S. Degree in Mechanical Technology at Corning Community College in 1978 and is a NYS 4 yr. Class A Machinist Tool and Die Apprentice Graduate in 1978. While at Corning Community College, Mr. Kelce distinguished himself by achieving Top Honors in the Apprentice Test Program and making Dean’s list in 1978. He has been an employee of Corning, Inc. for 35 years. He has been a Volunteer Firefighter for 20 years and is a First Responder.
Mr. Kelce was born in Corning, NY and has a twin sister, Debra. He has been married for 30 years to Pam Kelce and they have 3 children. Mr. Kelce participates in a variety of sports. He is an avid runner and cyclist. He competes in 5K, 10K and 20K running events and often finishes in the top 3 places. He competes in Corning, Inc. Interplant leagues in bowling, softball and basketball. Mr. Kelce was a high school wrestler. He enjoys cross country skiing, backpacking, hiking, hinting and fishing. He has been a Boy Scout Leader and has coached Babe Ruth, Little League and Small Fry Football.
Mr. Kelce is an accomplished musician and is the Musical Director at 1st Baptist Church in Corning. He has been a member of the band Northern Edition for 15 years and plays guitar, mandolin, fiddle, trombone and sings.
Mr. Kelce began his training at Three Treasures Martial Arts in 2002 and achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in 2005 and has been an Instructor since 2005. He has participated in many tournaments, seminars and demonstrations and is a Tai Chi student as well. Mr. Kelce received the Parent of the Year Award for 2006, Instructor Award for 2005 and the 3TMA Award, the highest award at Three Treasures Martial Arts, for 2004.
