Mr. Scott
Mr. Scott was born in Corning, NY and attended C-PP West High School where he lettered in Football and Track. He earned his A.S. at Corning Community College in Math and Science. He then attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science where he graduated in 1986 with a B.S. in Pharmacy with Honors. He now works as a Pharmacist for the V.A. in Bath, NY. Mr. Scott is married to Mary Gill-Scott who is a Tai Chi student at Three Treasures Martial Arts and they have two sons, Jordan and Aidan, who are both Junior Red Belts at the Academy.
Mr. Scott is one of the first students to begin training in Martial Arts at Three Treasures Martial Arts when the doors opened in 1999. He showed great perseverance in his training and achieved the rank of Black Belt in 2005. He now holds the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt Advanced and holds 1st Dan certification from Kukkiwon as well. He is a Coach Instructor in the Kwok Wu Chuen System and instructs regularly at Three Treasures Martial Arts.
During his Martial Arts career Mr. Scott has received many awards including Instructor’s Award for 2000, Academy Spirit Award for 2002, Outstanding Improvement Award for 2003, Black Belt Excellence Award for 2005. For 2007 he received the 3TMA Award, the highest honor given by Three Treasures Martial Arts and for 2007 he received the 3TMA Instructor of the Year. He has competed in tournaments and served as judge and referee.
Mr. Scott will be attended the National Referee Seminar at the National Qualifier in York, PA in March 2008.
